SIDEWALK SALE

An entire weekend of stash enhancement opportunities ! = May 29—June 1 during regular shop hours.  Discounts will be as high as 40%!<= o:p>

This is a great time to stock up!  We have many older (think 70’s-80’s)=   that will be as low as 50 cents.  Plan ahead, think Christmas presen= ts!

VACATION

Remember to come in and get an easy to work on project to take with you on vacation.  Can’t find what you want in a kit?  We’ll kit it for you! <= /o:p>

 

FINISHING SERVICE

We are excited to have a new finisher!  Vonna  has stitched  and finished for nat= ional designers.  Come in & see = what she has done for us.  She has = some great ways to display your stitching besides framing!!  Prices vary by size and type of finish.  Some of the styles in= clude flatfold, cube, covered box, wooden box, basket, tin = (altoid size), pinkeep, and scissor fob.

 

PAMPER YOURSELF PARTY

Make time to pamper yourself!  Join us Thursday, July 24th from 6= to whenever for a night of fun & relaxation.  Come in & stitch, eat, get a relaxing paraffin treatment for your hands, & play some games.  Cost is $4 & includes pizza.

 

<= st1:City w:st=3D"on">MONROE COUNTY FAIR=

The Monroe County Fair is approaching fast.  .=   Fair books & entry tags are available at Fancy Works.  Anyone living in Monroe County or is active in a Monroe County Exte= nsion Homemaker club is eligible to enter.  Entries go in on Wednesday, July 16th from 3 to 7 pm.   Judging is the following day= and the fair opens Saturday, July 19th.  If you are interested in helping with this process, stop in or call & let us know.

 

<= st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">INDIANA STATE= FAIR

We have a State Fair guide book for anyone interested in entering this year.  The State Fair open class is different from the Monroe County Fair.<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>  (You don’t even have to ente= r on the local level to enter in the state fair. )  Entry fee is $30 and this allows y= ou 35 entries.  Entry form  & entry fee must be postmarked by July 1.  OR  you c= an enter online at indianastatefair.com. 

The fair runs Aug 6-17.

 

BOOKMARK CHALLENGE

A special thanks to Ann Haw, Lynn DuCharme, Pat Harris, Nancy  Lee & Wanda Isom for stitching bookmarks for the challenge.  We

delivered 18 bookmarks to<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>  Mrs. Harrison  at Edgewood Intermedia= te School in Ellettsville.  Each stitcher received a thank you gift for their donation= , with a special gift for Wanda for donating the most!

The 2008 National Counted Cross Stitch Show at= Rockome<= /st1:PlaceName> Gardens is June 6—15.  Dianna will be dr= iving to Rockome (in Arcola, IL) on   Monday, June 7th and would l= ove company!  Entry into Rockome is $8.  For specifics about the event go to www.stitch.rockome.com or stop in the shop & ask to see the information book.

CHANGES

Has it been awhile since you’ve been in?   We’ve really = filled the shop since we opened! We’ve added designers, expanded fiber lines= ,  found = new frame suppliers,  increased em= bellishment lines, and much more.  Come ch= eck out the changes!!  <= span lang=3DEN style=3D'mso-ansi-language:EN'>NEW DESIGNER  We now carry charts from Purple Patch Design fro= m England.  Many of these colorful charts remind  us of stained glass.
